Colin
Licensed Veterinary Technician
I joined the Delmarva Animal Emergency Center team in May 2025. My passion for animal care started when I was 19 years old. I started my journey in the veterinary field as a kennel assistant while pursuing the veterinary technician track of Delaware Technical Community College, where I obtained my associates degree and passed my VTNE in August 2015, becoming a licensed veterinary technician, a role I probably held for the past 10 years. Outside of work, I enjoy immersing myself in gaming, reading, and exploring the wide range of music genres. On weekends, I often find peace and joy in visiting my grandparents at Trap Pond, where nature and family time come together.

Sarah
Veterinary Tech
I am a Delaware native and life long animal and nature lover. I started working with animals as a young teen, doing some volunteer work with DHA and later, working in boarding and grooming facilities. I made the transition to veterinary medicine in 2001 after completing a veterinary assistant program. From there I acquired training, experience and my license. I have been a Veterinary Technician for 23 years. My experience consists of small and large animal and also some exotics. It is my passion. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family, church, hiking, geocache, traveling, gardening, trying new foods, and occasionally rehabing wild birds for re-release. I have an incredible daughter and one rambunctious cat.

Morgan
Veterinary Assistant
Morgan has been a veterinary assistant for the past five years and loves helping animals while also supporting the people who love them. Whether it’s helping a nervous pet feel more comfortable or reassuring an anxious owner, she enjoys being part of the team that keeps pets happy and healthy.
Her favorite dog breeds are poodles and doodles, as she has four doodles of her own at home—along with four cats and two guinea pigs, so there’s never a dull moment. When she’s not at the clinic, Morgan runs a small livestock rescue called Open Arms Farm, which is home to six cows, four sheep, and three goats. Over the years, she has also rehabilitated a large handful of animals and helped find them loving new homes. One of her favorite residents is her blind cow, Minnie, who reminds her every day how resilient animals can be.
In her free time, Morgan loves spending time with her animals and her husband.
Kalynn
I am an avid equestrian and delight in spending time a the beach where I live!

Sara Knight
Veterinary Technician
After graduating High School I started volunteering for a local SPCA, which turned into 12ys working in the animal welfare field as a Veterinary Technician and Rescue Coordinator. I loved helping homeless pet find that perfect home. Sadly a sudden forced career change sent me into another 10yrs as an Emergency Medical Technician. I enjoyed being an EMT but always felt like something was missing. I decided to learn about the world of standardbred harness racing (on and off the track) as a groom and then owning horses.
I currently live on a farm with horses, dogs, cats, rabbits and a guinea pig. In my free time you can find me hitting the trails or a show with my horses, anything outside really, spending time with family and friends or out line dancing.
Katie Seeman
Katie has been working in veterinary medicine for 11 years and has experience in several different roles within the field. She loves being able to care for animals every day and enjoys helping pets feel comfortable and safe during their visits to the clinic.
Outside of work, her life is just as animal-filled. She shares her home with four dogs—Rambo, a 6-year-old Great Dane; Daisy, a 9-year-old Labrador; Cash, a 4-year-old wire-haired pointer; and Waylon, a 3-year-old Labrador—as well as 10 ducks and 2 geese. When she’s not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs or relaxing with a good book.
